At Lake Macquarie Boat Hire, we bring people together on the water. Whether you’re planning a birthday celebration, a family day out, or a corporate team-building event, our vessels and experiences are designed for comfort, ease, and connection.

From our 12-person BBQ pontoon ‘Day Tripper’ to our 4.5m Dory and kayaks, plus premium tours with Coastline, there’s an adventure for everyone.

HIRE A BOAT

  • No, you can hire our boats without a boat licence.

  • What you bring is up to you, however we recommend packing plenty of water on hot days and some food if you’re heading out for a longer hire.

    Many guests also bring fishing rods to enjoy fishing on the lake — rods and tackle are available for hire when booking, so there’s no need to bring your own unless you prefer to.

  • Yes. The person hiring the boat must be 18 years or older. Guests of all ages are welcome onboard our boats when accompanied by an adult.

  • Yes. To ensure you receive your full time on the water, please arrive at the meeting point 10–15 minutes before your scheduled start time to complete your safety briefing.

  • You can cancel online at least 7 days before your booking to receive a full refund or credit. If we need to cancel your booking due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, you will also receive a credit from us. Please note that no-shows will be charged the full booking rate.

  • Our meeting point is Valentine Public Warf. There is free parking available for all guests.
